VISIT CHIANG MAI – as the locals say, “The rose of the north”.

The shopping malls have all the usual luxury brands as well as a selection of value for money shops and when you are thirsty or hungry there are many coffee shops and restaurants.

HUAY TUNG TAO LAKE
Hang out like a local at 17 km from the resort. This is a perfect place to relax under the Thai sun, surrounded by hills and with a lake to swim in at your leisure.
The Huay Tung Tao lake has so many kid friendly and family friendly activities to do.
Take a 3 km walk around the lake, have a swim and rent a big inner tube to float an the water and when you get hungry or thirsty there are restaurants around the lake where you can sit and relax.

MAKE A DAY TRIP TO DOI SUTHEP – as the locals say, “You have not visited Chiang Mai if you haven’t visited Doi Suthep”.
Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, built in 1383, is the symbol of Chiangmai. It is the most sacred temple in the city and contains the holy relic of the Lord Buddha, which is enshrined in the magnificent golden pagoda.
This mountaintop temple is a must-see. On the way up to the temple you have stunning views over Chiang Mai.
After your visit to Doi Suthep, have lunch and visit Bo Sang handicraft village.
The handcrafting of umbrellas and parasols in Bo Sang Village is known throughout the country and even abroad.
