Take a 3 km walk around the lake, have a swim and rent a big inner tube to float an the water and when you get hungry or thirsty there are restaurants around the lake where you can sit and relax.

Wat Prathat Doi Suthep, built in 1383, is the symbol of Chiangmai. It is the most sacred temple in the city and contains the holy relic of the Lord Buddha, which is enshrined in the magnificent golden pagoda.
This mountaintop temple is a must-see. On the way up to the temple you have stunning views over Chiang Mai.
